He is also the former Co-Founder and CEO of Whisbi, a conversational-sales company that raised more than $17 million, reached $8 million ARR, and served global brands including AT&T, DirecTV, and Vodafone.

With more than 15 years of experience building technology businesses across Europe and North America, Alex brings a practical founder’s perspective on conversational AI, enterprise sales automation, outcome-based business models, and scaling high-growth startups. He is also active in the Barcelona startup ecosystem as a mentor and advocate for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Raghav Matta is a Specialist Solutions Architect at Databricks, where he works with organisations on real-time analytics, data engineering and applied AI on the lakehouse. His work centres on turning unstructured, high-volume data into governed, queryable assets that business teams can actually use.

He brings a hands-on, practitioner perspective on modern data architecture: streaming ingestion, medallion-layer design, SQL-based AI functions for sentiment analysis, classification, entity extraction and PII masking, and governance applied to both data and models. He also focuses on making these workflows reproducible with freely available tooling, so that analysts and students can rebuild them without enterprise infrastructure.

Artem Khvastunov is Head of Professional Services at JetBrains, a department he built from the ground up. He came to it through the products themselves, first as a developer building IDE features, then leading the GoLand team, and later across JetBrains' IDE organization, work driven by the same goal throughout: making software development more productive and enjoyable. That progression from writing the tools to running the organization around them informs what he pays attention to now: how AI is reshaping enterprise software delivery, and what it takes for an organization to adapt its processes as fast as its teams adopt the tools.

A serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience working with international, regional and local entities in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. She is the ScaleUp Advisor at Repscan, IDEADED & Plug and Play and has professional experience in operations, venture capital, digital transformation, cybersecurity, blockchain, smart cities, finance, government contracting, international diplomacy, commercialisation of technologies, environmental planning, sustainable building, land use, mobility, public engagement and infrastructure development. Former Advisor on innovation & Competitiveness at the White House & US Congress and SBA Administrator.

Carlos Varea is CEO of Datision, a Catalan company specialised in artificial intelligence applied to the optimisation of industrial processes. He has more than 15 years of experience leading digital transformation strategies and high-impact projects in complex production environments, and combines commercial judgement with technical depth to turn operational data into measurable advantage.

His current focus is scalable AI solutions that improve efficiency, planning and decision-making on the factory floor, including work through Datision's spin-off MESAI on plug-and-play industrial AI. He is an active voice in the Catalan AI ecosystem, contributing to Digital Catalonia Alliance programmes and executive training on how companies should assess and sequence AI adoption.

Martí Norberto is CEO and co-founder of Timbal AI, a Barcelona company building an end-to-end platform for developing, deploying and running AI applications and agents in production. Timbal brings together an AI-native data layer, a deterministic agent and workflow runtime with built-in observability and evaluations, and a visual builder for data-connected applications, so teams move from prototype to production without stitching separate tools together.

He brings a builder's perspective on the part of the AI stack that most organisations underestimate: reliability, auditability and governance once agents are live and touching real business processes. His work focuses on making autonomous systems behave predictably at scale, across cloud, private infrastructure and embedded deployments.

Josep Maria is Partner at Schumpit, a Barcelona-based innovation and technology consultancy that helps industrial and mid-market companies design and execute transformation programmes. He has more than 20 years of experience in business management, strategic planning, innovation processes and internationalisation.

His work sits at the point where AI meets organisational change: defining where the technology creates measurable value, and then building the processes and teams that make adoption stick. At Schumpit he has driven the development of applied AI solutions for industry, including SherpAI, an agent that unifies fragmented internal data into a single knowledge base for operational and executive decision-making. He is an active member of the Digital Catalonia Alliance AI community.

Xavier is a senior leader in AI, holding a PhD in AI and bringing over 15 years of experience across industry and research.

Most recently, he led global AI strategy and operations at a top-tier TIC company, driving both internal AI transformation as well as development and commercialization of AI Testing and Certification services. By combining deep technical expertise in AI Engineering, Governance, and Security with strategic business leadership, Xavier has extensive experience in turning emerging technologies into scalable services that strengthen Digital Trust globally.

Israel López Moriano is a Sr Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, where he supports and advises startups across southern Europe. Based in Barcelona, he works mostly with funded companies, from seed stage onwards.

Almost all of that work now involves AI. He helps teams design and run agents and LLM-based systems, and deal with what comes up when those systems have to work in production.

He is a regular speaker at events such as the AWS Summits, where he talks about securing agentic AI.

Maurice Schulmann is Chief Transformation, Technology, Data & AI Officer at Groupe Partouche, one of Europe's largest casino and leisure groups, where he has spent twenty years. He started in operations, built and led marketing and communication, then moved into strategy and general management. He is also Délégué Général of the group and co-founder of Partouche Multiverse.

His work is about reinventing what going to a casino means, combining the heritage of a family group of more than fifty years with the ambitions of tomorrow's entertainment. His current focus is customer experience across physical and digital casinos, innovation in new entertainment formats, and modernising a sector going through deep regulatory and technological change.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, he argues that the best transformations come from people who know their industry from the inside, its codes and its roots.

Holding telecommunications engineering degrees from UPC and ENSEEIHT, along with executive business education from Columbia Business School, she has held key leadership roles at Airbus, including Managing Director & CEO of Airbus GeoTech, SATCOM avionics engineer, and founder of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) marketing department. Matthias Stöger is a Partner at Wavveup, a Barcelona-based firm that coaches founders, CEOs and leadership teams through the highest-stakes moments of scaling a company: co-founder conflict and mediation, C-suite structuring, leadership transitions, and culture design as organisations grow past founder-led management. A three-time startup CEO across foodtech, medtech and AI, he combines that operating experience with executive coaching, systemic team coaching and behavioural profiling, working with leaders on both performance and the patterns underneath it. He currently leads Wavveup's expansion into the DACH market.

Pau Rué holds a PhD in Computational Physics and a Post-Doc from the Universtiy of Cambridge, and has spent the last 10 years of his career building safe Machine Learning and AI systems in high-stakes environments. He has led technical and product functions at Typeform, Infermedica, Schibsted, Telefónica, and Alinia AI. A few months ago, Pau co-founded Elna Health, a Clinical AI tool that is used by tens of thousands of clinicians across Europe.
