Workshop 9 - From Prototype to Production: Building, Securing, and Scaling AI Agents with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
Tuesday 22 September, 16:30 – 17:50Workshop Room ABuilding an AI agent is the easy part. Getting it to production — authorized, observable, debuggable, and scalable — is the real engineering challenge. In this hands-on workshop, AWS Solutions Architects and specialists walk you through the key building blocks of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. You'll scaffold an agent with the AgentCore CLI, connect it to tools (MCP servers, APIs, knowledge bases), wire up identity-aware access control, and deploy it — all within a provided AWS sandbox environment and without managing infrastructure. Bring your curiosity and your laptop — whether you work with LangChain, Strands SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, or your own framework, you'll leave with practical, hands-on experience building agents that are ready to evolve toward production. This is not a demo. You will build, break, and debug. Level: Intermediate to Advanced (300–400), structured in progressive modules with guided support — beginners can follow along while experienced builders push into advanced patterns (agent runtime deployment, multi-tool orchestration with authentication, MCP server integration, IAM-backed access policies, production observability and tracing). Recommended: basic Python and familiarity with AWS core services (IAM, Lambda). For: software engineers, AI/ML engineers, platform engineers, cloud architects, DevOps/SRE practitioners, and technical founders building AI agent systems.
