Biography
Paula López Otero has a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering. She has worked in the academia for more than 10 years before moving to the industry and, later, to the Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA). Her main areas of expertise include emotion recognition from speech, speaker identification and deepfake detection.
