Biography

Joan Salvatella is Founder and co-CEO of Bookline.ai, a Barcelona-based Conversational AI leader serving over 2,500 companies across 16 countries in hospitality and travel. Since founding Bookline in 2018, Joan has built a 60+ person team and scaled the company to $4M ARR, automating customer service through advanced phone systems that ensure no call goes unanswered. His platform integrates with all major restaurant reservation software in South Europe and LATAM, positioning Bookline as the go-to solution for AI-powered phone automation.

Before launching Bookline, Joan was an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at Accenture España, where he led teams building chatbots for robotic interfaces (Jibo, Nao, Pepper) and spearheaded digital transformation of IBEX35 call centers using voice bots. Joan serves as a startup mentor and Business Angel in 7 startups. He holds an MSc in Computer Engineering from UPC.
