Biography
Ana Peleteiro Ramallo is the VP of Data & Applied AI at Preply, where she leads the company's global data ecosystem, enhancing data-driven decision-making and embedding AI in meaningful, human-centric ways. Ana brings over 15 years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data-driven product development. Ana holds an engineering degree, a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a master in executive leadership. Prior to joining Preply, Ana held senior data and AI leadership roles at Zalando, where she specialized in developing machine learning products to enhance core e-commerce. Ana has been the recipient of multiple awards throughout her career, including being named Data Scientist of the Year by the DatSci Awards. She is a multilingual lifelong learner and a sports enthusiast.
