Biography
Dave García is the co-founder and CEO of Pensero, an AI-native platform helping organizations understand engineering performance and measure the real impact of AI on software delivery.
With more than 20 years of experience building and leading engineering organizations, Dave has held senior leadership roles at high-growth technology companies including TravelPerk, Skyscanner, and Verse. Throughout his career, he repeatedly faced the same challenge: being asked to evaluate engineering performance and make critical talent, investment, and operational decisions without objective, reliable data.
That experience led him to found Pensero.
Today, Dave works with engineering and executive teams to answer some of the most pressing questions facing organizations in the AI era: Is AI actually improving performance? Where is value being created? How can leaders distinguish activity from impact? And how should companies measure the return on their growing AI investments?
His work focuses on creating fair, transparent, and data-driven approaches to understanding how teams operate, helping leaders make better decisions while giving engineers greater visibility into the value they create.
