Biography
Charlie Hills is a London-based AI content creator and entrepreneur, and the founder of MarTech AI, a weekly newsletter read by more than 50,000 marketers and founders. A former food tech founder, he began posting about AI on LinkedIn at the end of 2023 with no following and passed 200,000 followers within two years, leaving employment to build the operation full time.
He brings a hands-on systems perspective on applying AI to marketing and content, focused on workflows people can copy rather than commentary. He runs his entire content operation on tooling he built himself, including custom agent workflows for scripting, reviewing, repurposing and publishing, and has partnered with companies including Anthropic, Perplexity, Zapier, Notion and Airtable.
His perspective is especially relevant for audiences interested in applied AI for marketing, personal brand building, and how individuals and small teams operationalise AI into repeatable systems.
Session
- AI For BuildersSpeaker
Workshop 3 - Why and how to build a personal brand on LinkedIn with AI, the right way (one of the few moats left)
Tuesday 22 September, 11:30 – 12:50Workshop Room AAI made building things easy. So, what's actually left to compete on? This session argues it's brand, trust, and human relationships. Three things AI can't clone from a screenshot, and all three take time to build. Google's Zero Moment of Truth research points to 7 hours and 11 touch points before someone trusts you enough to buy. In this session, we break down what that looks like in B2B today, and we zoom in on LinkedIn specifically. Give AI the right context, and it can actually help you build brand, trust, and relationships. Skip that step and you get slop. We'll build the context live, on stage, with a volunteer from the audience. One person, their real business. Jacob Zangel and Charlie Hills dig into who they are, what they stand for, their ICP, and what actually sets them apart from the competition. Only once that's on the table does AI get involved in helping them create content for LinkedIn. We might even create a post (or two), live. You leave knowing what you need to feed AI so it can actually help you, instead of handing you slop. ⚠️ Important! Who is this for? B2B founders, execs, marketers, and builders already posting on LinkedIn consistently, at least once or twice a week over the past few months. You want to see how Charlie Hills grew a following of 250K+ on LinkedIn, 70K newsletter subscribers, and over 100M organic lifetime impressions. We'll show you all the different parts of his LinkedIn AI OS, and demonstrate live how some of the core parts actually work. If you're not posting yet, or not posting consistently, this session won't be the best use of your time. What you'll walk away with: → The few moats left in B2B, and why building a personal brand is the one you can start on Monday → The 2026 B2B buying math: why "88 touches across 10 stakeholders" replaced the old advice to just be everywhere, and what that means for your content plan → The context that makes AI useful, not slop: watch us pull it out of a volunteer live, ICP, positioning, differentiation, before we start creating any content with AI
