Biography
Oriol Juncosa is co-founder and managing partner of ESC Venture Capital (formerly Encomenda Smart Capital), a Barcelona-based VC firm, and is also currently associated with Plus Partners VC. He co-founded Kibo Ventures earlier in his career and has been angel investing since 1999, with early bets including Idealista. His background includes senior roles at UBS and Lehman Brothers, and an MBA from London Business School.
His current public commentary focuses on AI, including recent posts on senior AI agents ("agentes sénior de IA") and enterprise AI adoption trends — positioning him as an investor voice on where AI is heading commercially, not just a general VC.
