Biography

Andreas Horn is an enterprise AI advisor and founder of Human in the Loop, a leading AI newsletter and community read by tens of thousands of executives and builders each week. He is a highly visible voice in the AI space on LinkedIn, ranked among the top 1% globally in AI by Favikon, and the author of several books on AI, including titles on generative AI and agentic systems.

Before his current work, he spent more than a decade at IBM, most recently as Head of AIOps for EMEA, where he led IBM’s AIOps service portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is also a university lecturer and international speaker focused on enterprise AI, agentic automation, and the practical adoption of emerging technologies.
