Biography
I'm Alexandre Gol i Mestre, CTO and co-founder of Systellar Space, a Barcelona-based deep tech startup. I'm a space systems engineer by training — MSc from Cranfield University and BSc in Physics from the University of Barcelona — with prior industry experience at Luxspace, OpenCosmos, and Exotrail, where I led frontier projects in the satellite industry. I now lead all technical development at Systellar, where we have built synapse™ to enable AI for the design of complex physical systems and make hardware work at the speed of software.

Demo 2 - Satellites, Planes, Trains: Why Hardware's Cursor Moment Just Started

Hardware is next. I'd like to talk about how AI-augmented systems engineering will do for complex physical systems design (satellites, airplanes, trains) what these tools are doing for code: turning months of fragmented, document-heavy engineering work into a fluid, intelligent process. This isn't speculative: the foundations are being built now. At Systellar, we've developed Synapse™ specifically to bring AI into the core of how complex hardware programs are designed, traced, and validated. My talk will explore what this transformation looks like, why hardware has been harder to crack than software, and what the future of engineering looks like when AI becomes a genuine design partner and, eventually, completely transforms the industry into an agentic one.
