Workshop 18 - Futures workshop. Coming of Age 20/40
Wednesday 23 September, 15:00 – 16:20Workshop Room BComing of Age 20/40 invites you to an exploration of the future and challenge your thinking to go beyond the current mode of using AI. You will meet four young Europeans from 2040 — Rowan, Nova, Cypher and Zane. You can talk to them about their lives through Orbs, voice-driven AI devices built around large language models. You can even discover their most personal belongings in their backpacks. People from the future, synthetic personas or LLMs? The session does not resolve that ambiguity. Try a new way of interacting with an AI, without screen, prompt box, private exchange. A whole group talks to one AI at once, aloud, through physical objects in the room. This is a session for exploring. Come with questions. Expect to leave with better ones.
