But when outputs are cheap and abundant, speed alone is no longer a competitive advantage. The real challenge becomes defining what good work actually looks like. This talk reframes “good” in the AI era as outcomes, not outputs. Drawing on Sense & Respond thinking, it treats AI-generated artifacts as a new class of assumptions—powerful, persuasive, and requiring validation. AI doesn’t eliminate uncertainty; it accelerates our ability to create hypotheses. The work of teams is still to decide which assumptions matter and how to test them. Attendees will learn why managing to outcomes becomes more critical as AI increases throughput, and how AI tools can be used to generate, test, and invalidate ideas faster—strengthening learning loops rather than replacing judgment. “Good” in the AI era is not about adopting tools. It’s about building organizations that learn faster than their assumptions.
