Biography
Fiona Garvey is CEO of Softonic, the Barcelona-founded global software discovery and download platform. She has more than 20 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, advertising, and media, and has been with Softonic for over a decade, previously serving as COO before becoming CEO in 2021.
Under her leadership, Softonic has evolved from a software download site into an AI-driven software recommendation platform, using machine learning and data to personalise software discovery for millions of users. She has spoken publicly about integrating AI responsibly into products and about how AI can augment human decision-making rather than replace it.
Her profile is especially relevant for sessions on AI in consumer platforms, software ecosystems, responsible AI in product, digital advertising and media, and how established tech companies can reinvent themselves with AI.
