Biography
Obaid Amjad is Vice-Dean for Research and Faculty Development at EU Business School in Barcelona, and an academic collaborator at ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation. His research focuses on the ethical, regulatory, and societal implications of digital platforms, including data extractivism, platform power, and public policy responses.dobetter.
He holds a PhD from ESADE and has previously worked as a strategy consultant at IBM Canada. His teaching and research activities cover geopolitics, the platform economy, cultural anthropology, and the governance of digital technologies.
