Biography
Carina Kaeser is a robotics engineer and Co-Founder & CEO of Ply, building safety and assurance infrastructure for Physical AI. Her background spans robotics research, system design and product development across ETH Zurich, EPFL and Harvard, and her work received the ICRA 2025 Best Mechanism & Design Award. She currently focuses on one of the hardest challenges in the field: how collaborative robot functionality can be developed and deployed with meaningful safety and security assurances.
