Alejandro Martí is the CEO and Co‑Founder of Mitiga Solutions, a deep‑tech company turning cutting‑edge science, AI, and supercomputing into actionable intelligence on physical climate risks. He also serves as Chair of the United Nations Group on AI for Climate Applications, where he helps set global standards for how institutions leverage AI to navigate growing climate volatility.
Under Alejandro’s leadership, Mitiga has emerged as a European frontrunner in climate risk intelligence, trusted by major insurers, investors, and infrastructure operators to strengthen resilience against extreme weather and natural hazards.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from UPC and has pursued advanced studies in Applied Physics, Mathematics, Climate Change, Business, and Entrepreneurship at Rutgers, Princeton, Cambridge, and ESADE. With more than 15 years at the intersection of science, technology, and policy, Alejandro is recognized for shaping how the world measures and manages climate risk.
