Biography
Óscar García-Esquirol is a physician, co-founder, and Chief Medical Officer of Mediktor, a Barcelona-based digital health company developing AI-powered symptom assessment and pre-diagnostic tools. He co-founded the company in 2011 with Cristian Pascual, combining clinical experience in emergency and intensive care medicine with healthcare technology entrepreneurship.
He is also Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Barcelona Health Hub, where he supports the digital health ecosystem and the development of healthtech startups. His work focuses on improving access to healthcare, guiding patients toward appropriate care, and applying natural-language AI to clinical triage and patient pathways.
